I have experience of all the major London record offices, the General Register Office, Belfast, and the National Archives in Dublin. In many circumstances, it has been necessary to consult parish records so I have also visited local county record offices throughout the country. The following are some details of the London repositories which I use most frequently and the records which they hold:

Beginning with the Domesday Book and running to the present day, it also includes a useful library and facilities for taking copies of the records.
